Tripura
Tripura is a northeastern state in India, bordering Bangladesh to the south and Assam to the west. It is known for its lush green hills, serene lakes, and vibrant tribal culture. The state's capital, Agartala, is a bustling city with a mix of modern and traditional architecture.
Manipur
Manipur is another northeastern state in India, bordering Nagaland and Assam to the north, Mizoram to the south, and Myanmar to the east. It is home to diverse ethnic groups, including Meiteis, Kukis, Nagas, and Tangkhuls. Manipur is known for its beautiful landscapes, including the Loktak Lake, the highest altitude freshwater lake in India, and the Kangla Fort, an ancient fortress that was once the capital of the Manipur kingdom.
Meghalaya
Meghalaya, also in the northeastern region of India, borders Bangladesh to the south and Assam to the west. It is known as the "Land of Clouds" due to its frequent rainfall and misty mountains. Meghalaya is home to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Nokrek National Park, the Mawsynram and Cherrapunji villages, which are known for their high annual rainfall, and the Living Root Bridges of Meghalaya, which are ancient tree bridges that are still used by local people.
